Girl’s Tea Time

Last night I went to a good friend’s house to unwind and relax and she had the most adorable little assortment of snacks (which, in all honesty, was filling enough for a dinner).

She whipped up an assortment: crustless philadelphia cream cheese and zaa’tar sandwhiches, water crackers with spiced tuna and corn kernals, wheat toast triangles with a sundried tomato spread and (my personal favorite of the night) fresh homemade pumpkin and carrot soup (of which I managed to steal the recipe). We had some warm tarrogan and green tea on the side.

I just love the idea of home-made and creative appetizer bits for guests – it adds such a warm touch!
